The Alabama Dept. of Environmental Management (ADEM) has banned outdoor burning from May through October in Baldwin and other counties in Alabama. Read entire notice here.


The burn ban issued by Governor Bentley’s office June 7, 2011 that was put into effect because of drought conditions, has been lifted, however, we are still under the ADEM burn ban, that we are every year, due to air quality issues.
The ADEM burn ban is in effect from
May 1^st until October 31^st.
